I have been translating since 1993. Once I attended my first conference more than a decade ago I was hooked. After a few years as an attendee I sent my first proposal to speak in 2013. I have become a regular speaker on a wide range of topics since then.
I feel at home amongst people who are open-minded and enjoy travelling and learning about other cultures, in other words, translators!
I live at the crossroads of the Dutch, Arabic and Polish culture. Passionate about technology and languages, I’ve been always fascinated by the way these two fields merge and evolve as a result of their mutual influence.
I have been translating since 2005. I have also spoken at conferences on a wide variety of topics. Travelling and delving into new cultures is what I enjoy the most. That’s why I help others adjust their online and offline communication to new markets and cultures.
For the time being Dorota will focus on her lovely daughter. Margreet de Roo has joined ART.
